- Custodial/Receiving Parents, any person who lives alone with their children or with someone who is not the natural parent of their children, and who is entitled to use the Child Support Agency to recover financial assistance to maintain their children's needs.
- Non Custodial/Paying Parents, any person who has children which do not live as part of their household and are, if contacted by the Child Support Agency, responsible to maintain their children.
- Individuals who have accumulated arrears due to their respective governments' Child Support programmes.
- Individuals involved in paternity disputes/challenging a presumption of parentage
- Private Agreements between both parties outside the respective government programmes
- Anyone who wishes to arrange fair Child Support Maintenance Payments but does not want to use the CSA or the Courts
